1. Website purpose
This website provides information and allows prospective customers to request project review. A submission is not an acceptance of work, a firm price, a manufacturing contract, or a guarantee that the project can be produced.
2. Quotes and scope
All pricing is quote-based. Quotes may state scope, quantity, material, finishing, assumptions, exclusions, estimated schedule, payment requirements, and validity period. Work begins only after Forged Customs Manufacturing confirms acceptance and any required payment, deposit, purchase order, or written approval is received.
3. Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, disclose important use conditions, verify critical dimensions, review proofs or specifications when requested, and identify any safety, regulatory, food-contact, medical, electrical, structural, pressure, heat, chemical, or other special requirements. You are responsible for determining whether a part is suitable for its intended application unless a separate written engineering agreement says otherwise.
4. Intellectual property
You represent that you own or are authorized to use all submitted files, designs, trademarks, images, and instructions. You retain ownership of your pre-existing materials. You grant Forged Customs Manufacturing a limited right to use them only to evaluate, quote, produce, document, and support the requested work.
5. Design assistance
Design suggestions and printability feedback are practical manufacturing assistance, not licensed engineering, certification, or professional design services unless specifically agreed in writing. Additional design work may require a separate quote.
6. Tolerances and appearance
Additive manufacturing may show layer lines, support marks, seams, color variation, texture variation, minor warping, and dimensional variation. Applicable tolerances and cosmetic standards must be confirmed in the written quote for critical work.
7. Payment
Approved work may be invoiced through PayPal Business invoices or another agreed method. Payment terms, deposits, taxes, fees, and late-payment terms are established in the quote or invoice. Do not pay an invoice that does not match the agreed project.
8. Changes and cancellation
Changes after approval may affect price and schedule. Cancellation rights depend on whether design work, material purchasing, machine setup, printing, finishing, or other nonrecoverable work has begun. A final cancellation policy will be adopted before routine production orders are accepted.
9. Inspection and issues
Inspect delivered work promptly and report concerns with photographs and the project reference. Remedies are determined based on the written quote, the confirmed requirements, the nature of the issue, and applicable law.
10. Prohibited work
Requests must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. We may decline any project at our discretion.
11. Disclaimer and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, the website and preliminary project guidance are provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any limitations of liability for paid work should be stated in the accepted quote or contract and reviewed by legal counsel.
12. Governing law
